Home Study Program

Eligibility

The Home Study Bar Review is offered on both a guaranteed and non-guaranteed basis.  Requirements for the guarantee are the same as for the live course (see information above on eligibility for theGuaranteed Bar Review). Students in the Los Angeles and Orange County metropolitan areas will be expected to attend live essay writing and performance skills sessions even if enrolled in the Home Study Program (modified Home Study).  Before enrolling in this course, please contact the office and ask to speak to the director or Professor Schmitt.

VHS, CD's, DVD's

The Home Study bar review is available on CD and DVD.  The course is identical to our live course.  The course includes substantive lectures, essay writing, performance skills workshops, and our full multistate program.  L.A. area students in the Home Study program must attend our live essay, performance, and multistate workshops.

How the Program Works

Students enrolled in the Home Study program are put on a schedule.  CD and DVD tapes are available from our library reserve program.  Students can have three substantive subjects out at a time, one essay writing workshop, and one performance skills workshop.  As the tapes and assignments are returned to the L.E.C.C. for grading, new tapes and assignments are sent out.
