Third Year Bar Review
Eligibility: The Third Year Bar Reviewprogram is available to 100 students in their last year of law school in‑tending to take the Summer '11 bar examination. Beginning in February '11, students attend substantive lectures and essay writing/multistate workshops on Saturdays. All materials used for the Guaranteed Bar Review are supplied for this course, including our substantive outlines, flashcards, over 130 past bar essay questions, multistate questions and answers, and performance tests.
Curriculum: : The curriculum for this course is designed to provide the student with a programmed schedule of bar examination preparation. The goal of the course is to have the student thoroughly prepared for the fourteen areas covered on the California Bar Examination BEFORE the student graduates from law school.
Testing: The course includes simulated examinations in all forms, including essay writing, multiple choice questions, and performance skills. All examinations will be graded by our instructors or our attorney graders.
Dates: The Third Year Bar Review will meet on Saturdays in February, March, and April of '11. Four Performance Skills Workshops will be held in the Fall '10 semester. The specific dates are: September 25, October 9, 24, and November 6.
All sessions begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m., or 1:30 p.m., depending on the subjects covered and testing provided.
Cost: Total $1,000. This amount will be applied to our Summer '11 Guaranteed Bar Review. A $500 initial payment is required for registration. The summer program normally is sold out by November of the prior year.
Size Limitation: The course is limited to 100 students based entirely on date of registration.
