Guaranteed Writing

The writing portion of the California Bar Exam (essays and performance tests) is now worth 65% of the final score.  Because of the importance of this portion of the exam, we are running our Guaranteed Writing Only course for repeat bar applicants.  This course is limited to 20 students not otherwise enrolled in our full program.  It is also available on a home study basis (see below).  Guaranteed Writing students attend the six Essay Writing Workshops and six Performance Skills Workshops given in the live course.

Dates:

For the February bar exam, the workshop dates are:
Essays: Dec. 23, 31, Jan. 8, 14, 21, 28, Feb. 11
Performance Skills: Dec 11, 18, Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29

For the July bar exam, the workshop dates are:
Essays: May 26, June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, July 10
Perform. Skill: May 24, 31, June 7, 14 21, 28, July 10

Materials: The materials provided include our Flashcards, Substantive Outlines, and over 130 past bar questions with suggested answers.  Repeaters are guaranteed that their essay scores will improve, and first-time takers are guaranteed to pass the essay portion of the exam, or your tuition will be fully refunded. Students enrolled in this course have passed at 75% the last twenty times it has been offered.

Repeaters: Please get your exams from the Committee of Bar Examiners as soon as possible and mail them to our main office.  Professor Schmitt and our graders will critique these exams for your benefit.
